Thoughts on the 6007G?
I like the red themed version One thing I wish is that it has a screw down crown. And readily available

At best uninspired if not outright awful I think. Those look like toy watches / Swatch to me. As if they have completely run out of ideas. But good for Patek if people are willing to part with 40k for them. I know the dial was polarizing but I'd rather get a preowned 6000G for much less.

Not a huge fan at the moment. They may grow on me but I don’t expect that to happen.

If I wasn’t waiting for another Calatrava 5226, I will seriously consider the one in red/yellow. I think the 6007G is the nicest release of W&W 2023 from Patek.

another terrible attempt at creating sporty calatravas as alternatives to the aquanaut and nautilus. This whole steel / gold ratio doesn't make sense if the steel watches are going to be desirable and the entry level and mid range gold ones aren't. Make the nautilus and aquanaut entirely PM and then make some $35,000 steel calatravas that are based on classic designs. My opinion must be extremely unpopular since the sterns know best.

I like them from the pics and online videos so far, but will probably have to see them in person to make a final decision. The design looks fun and racing inspired to me, whether or not it's worth the asking price is up to the individual.

I like it. Black/yellow looks nice to me. Cannot imagine these being any easier to get than anything else however....lol

The live video from revolution watch youtube does make it look a bit better though, you'd have to go with the red version and get a different strap though i think. still disappointed with so many releases that past years (other than the 5212a which is so close to perfect is so many ways) |

I think a different strap could also transform the look. I can’t tell if it would feel or look very fake in person (or too shiny). |

They look awful to me, mainly due to the colors . Had they offered one with white instead of yellow/red/blue it would have looked much nicer . And it’s like they are confused whether to be a sports watch or not … but 30m WR?

I think it caters well to the next generation of PP owners. Not many wear dress watches any longer and something in between dress and sport is the place to be. Personally, that's why the 5226 spoke to me and likely why PP is continuing with this trend. I think they are hitting a void in the market.

Do you think this was a way to try and bring in younger clients to Patek?

I really like the blue 6007G. I have expressed an interest with my AD. Let’s see what happens. For context I’ve got young kids who love to wrestle, so I don’t always want to be rocking my leather-strap GC or $100K 5712!

I can see the appeal for these, but makes no sense in WG. These need to be steel or titanium

I think the weight of the gold is nice. The 5226 is not heavy by any means but if it were steel, I think it would not be the same. Ti would be even worse in that regard.

I really do like the new 6007g series, but would 100% love these is they were SS and no date and lower price.

Not a fan. Does nothing for me. 5226 seems more versatile.

I would have been a buyer if Patek hand-guilloche the 6007's dial like the 5930 and 5230.

I love the 5226 and am on a “list” for it… but these 6007s just seem misguided in their use of color - like they are trying too hard. Just my 2 cents. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro |

Pretty lame, IMO.
Patek can and should do better. Patek's designers have the ability to innovate and even add some playfulness while retaining a sporty elegance, but this ain't it... |
