I've actually got a explorer two 216570, I'm wearing that on my rubber nato so that is why I've fitted the clasp to the sub!

Not too sure where you can source it from as I've checked eBay and they don't even have any, but good luck!

TBH if a dial and bezel popped up I'd do it now! Had the option a couple of years back but declined as I was concerned people would think I was trying to imitate I had the WG watch but now I couldn't care less and would leave the bracelet brushed and let people think what they want to!

Bezel insert is going to be very very tough now, dial is np.

This watch is stunning.

Noob question - How did you get the matte appearance on the bezel?

He sent the bezel to ABC Watchwerks in Los Angeles. They put a matte finish on the ceramic.

This watch looks fantastic. I always wanted to do this to a Sea Dweller.

I also love the addition of the matte bezel. This has made me consider a modern Rolex.

1. How has the matte bezel held up in terms of scratches and dings compared to the reg glossy ceramic bezel?

2. Would Rolex (RSC) be ok with an altered bezel like that and service it, or would they consider it aftermarket / non-original ?

Thanks!

Had my Rolex 14270 fully LUMED. Now it looks like the 2016 Explorer but in smaller 36mm.
