Sports news/coverage recommendations
For many years, I've been going to Yahoo Sports for scores and stories. However, as time has gone on, their content has become less and less appealing to me. I mean, a recap of who's saying what on twitter isn't exactly my idea of first rate sports coverage. So thought I'd ask my friends on the forum if they might know of some better options. My only qualifier is that I am rather America-centric in my sports interests, so even the best of the international sites probably won't fit the bill.
