Your Avatar and what it means (if anything)

Downtime at work today and bored out of my mind.

I present my new avatar. I'm very proud of the five minutes I spent in paint making it. Have had my username across the internet for more than a decade, but was having trouble coming up with a permanent profile picture for the forum. This might be it.

Checked for similar threads, but they were all at least a year old.

Just a baby monkey living with a bunch of other monkeys in a workshop in India I visited a few years back. They stole your tools if you left them behind...

The sophisticated man about town and image of a time when life was a little more sane.

He's the exact opposite of me, but not a bad image to aspire to in a digital world.

I use a picture of one of my favourite actors, and fellow Welshman, in his best role. Sir Anthony Hopkins as the equally legendary Hannibal Lecter

I used to have it as my Facebook profile pic and it was surprising how many people thought the picture was actually of me.

Mine is pretty much self explanatory, 26 years as a local police officer. I really miss the clowns some days, the circus not so much.

My darling Taittinger, who is an enormous part of my life.

As an aside....this is the only forum I have ever been a member of, and basically ever looked at. I do wish I had had the knowledge/insight to give myself a better user name when I first set it up!

I don't know exactly where mine is from ( not a movie still as far as I know) but it's Mr. Bond looking sharp in his bespoke suit leaning casually on the sexiest thing Britian ever designed. (#2 is of course the series Land-Rover).

I just think it's a great photograph. Especially in B&W.

I'm a gaijin ( foreigner ) living in Japan. Just like Tom Selleck in the movie "Mr. Baseball."

I've worked with Mr. Selleck back in the day in Magnum P.I. He is quite popular on here with his Pepsi GMT.

I used to love Sea-Dwellers a lot, owned one from 2003-2014. My avatar is a smiling, shy puppy, it means nothing. Thought it was just cute!
