You can’t access After dark until you’re approved and you don’t need to access it to pledge.

You sure you’ve done this before?

that sucks. There has got to be a way to get your username back or at a minimum get your post count back.

Sticky in this (Rolex General discussion forum) become a 2018 pledge member..... and unfortunately, I believe your post count is gone! Hopefully I’m wrong, but it happened to someone on another forum and his count and feedback was gone... good luck!

it really discourages people to report a hack. I would try to deal with it myself vs reporting it if it became an instant account ban. At least password resets, or hiring some computer nerd to re hack my account to take it back over might work.

Its like getting your credit card hacked and the CC company makes you change your name. Its your online identity and its gone.

Contact Lol-x to reinstate your banned account (it was banned to prevent others getting scammed by whoever hacked you). It wasn't necessary to make a new pledge account.

It doesn't work that way at all, but you are welcome to deal with yourself if you think that you are able.

Just to double confirm that it doesn't work the way you assume above.

The key thing is being able to convince the admin (Lol-x).

He needs to determine that "you" are you and not the "new-you" who you had inadvertently handed your password to.

Once established, the account is re-instated intact.

Good to know there is a possibility of sorting it out as it seems like it’s happening more and more unfortunately

Actually it's been fairly quiet lately. It was happening a lot more a few months ago...almost daily it seemed...despite the sticky notices we put up at the top of Rolex General Discussion and Open Discussion. But everyone (as far as I recall) got their accounts back. And it's pretty much always the account-holders fault for opening a bogus link and giving away their login details, thereby putting other members in danger of being scammed.
