First post on rolex forums, has anyone put a stainless band on a 16031?
My watch came with aftermarket band and the only authentic bands I can find are only stainless, no two tones. Anybody have a two tone crown with a stainless band?

Thanks!

Well the Date went back and was replaced a bit later with 16013 shown below on leather.

It came with a Jubilee dial (installed) and its original dial. All in all a really comfortable classic vintage watch.

Any and all metal bracelets will stretch over time...TT ( two tones) perhaps a little more since gold is softer than steel, whether it be a Jubilee or Oyster. ..!.

I have been curious about this? Was there ever a datejust TT produced with a blue face? Does anyone know what year these were offered? Curretly they do not offer a blue face on the ss/yg. Or if I see one is it an aftermarket adjustment?

As far as I am aware, the smooth bezels on modern SS Datejusts are SS and the fluted bezels at WG. Can't comment on vintage Datejusts, though.

Always good to see another rhodium dial white gold / stainless steel Datejust in the wild. I enjoy the mechanical sculpture appearance of this color combo.

I purchased mine as a 4 month old pre-owned watch with it's box, original sales receipt and documentation. Totally worth the $ savings off retailed price.

Bought my first Rolex on Friday... it did not come with paperwork as I bought it used. But wanted to know what reference # do you think this falls under, and did I get fleeced paying $5k for it haha. It’s a white gold and stainless DJ36 MM with the hidden clasp jubilee bracelet. I cannot post photos yet, but will get to 10 posts soon! Also would the serial # under the glass be an indication of the year? It’s starts with a G

Thanks in advance!
