Advice on a Datejust purchase please. New vs Vintage
Hi,
I am looking at buying a datejust watch for every day wear and wanted some advice on peoples experience of purchasing Rolex's. I have seen two models that i am keen on, the Datejust oyster 36, steel and gold with fluted bezel and black dial with a jubilee bracelet, model 116233. The other is model 16078, yellow gold, Datejust 36 with black dial, this one is vintage, 33 years old from a reputable online watch seller with no box or papers. Firstly, is buying with no box and papers a big issue? Also i want to buy something i like but also with the view that it wont lose value and is there anything i should be looking out for when purchasing new vs vintage. Thanks |
