How to clean your watch with an oysterflex/rubber strap?

For anyone that owns one or has knowledge on how to clean the band attached to the watch please let me know. Thank you

I have a rubber b on my YM and I wash it with the watch with dawn or hand soap, just as I do with my watches on the SS bracelets. It works great!

This. I actually also use wristcleans rubber cleaner as well. I’d call it almost more of a conditioner than a cleaner, but it works pretty well.

I get a large bottle of perrier sparkling water ** the carbonation helps lift the dirt**

I rinse watch with a 1/2 cup to start

I than use an ultra soft toothbrush with apple scented palmolive**gives rubber bracelet a fresh scent** and stroke gently in a circular motion. I start with clockwise and than switch to counter clockwise.

I rinse again, this time with a full 1 cup...wait 10 seconds and repeat...

to finish i use a can of compressed air and wipe with a 'sham-wow' chamois

gets my watch and bracelet(steel, titanium or rubber) looking brand new everytime

What i'm asking more specifically, is if there is a special solution or product used to clean the rubber. Rubber can stain so I just want to make sure before I try anything out. Better safe than sorry.

Not that I know of, at least not in the watchmaking industry.
Soap and water is the way to go.

A most humble thanks and yes i feel that 303 Aerospace is the best for plastics, even over Pfledge (or whatever they call it). Have been detailing cars for many decades, so far 303 is the best.

BTW if you have a cloth convertible top, they make an EXCELLENT treatment for that so that water literally beads and flows off the fabric top. Great stuff, the best i've found to date.

For natural leather watch bands, Louis Vuitton, Hermes, Rolls Royce / Bentley raw leather, etc, then it is the two-step Leatherique has been the best over all others.

JMHO YMMV
