New offering from Tudor

New offering from Tudor available in 34, 36, 39 and 41 mm. Waffle dial looks nice.

I'm keeping an open mind.

We go through this every year and sometimes the most ridiculed watches become quite popular.

What we are getting now is knee-jerk reactions to insufficient information and preconceived notions as to what the future market will find appealing.

They missed the mark here, in my opinion. It reminds me of a Tissot.

I hear you my friend. But usually those watches are more polarizing than this example from tudor.

My guess is that most don't like it at all, and everyone else is lukewarm.

That may just be a bad picture of a good looking watch.

Not 1926 bad, but uninspiring.

Maybe the photo quality is influencing my impression, but I’m not liking this one at all. I’d bet that this becomes a huge disappointment, unless the watch wears extremely well on the wrist. It might if it is thinner than the usual Tudor offerings.

I suspect Timex would be insulted by the comparison.

The last thing I feel when I see that image is “sophistication” and “tradition”. When they tell you what they want you to feel, you know that they know they missed the mark too. But I’m sure that someone will buy it so they can tell their friends they have a “Rolex”.

The perfect retirement gift watch.

Tudor saw a hole in the marked and went for it

I do not like it. Tudor would be best served, in my opinion, sticking with updates and modifications to it's core lineup. While this may work for a few I expect to see it in my AD's case for years with no buyers.
