Glashutte Original SeaQ rose gold
Hello guys. Niche question that I am putting in here are in the main forum will be too one-sided!
Decided I want some rose gold in my life. I really like the the GO SeaQ 39.5 recently launched in ‘red gold’. Until then I’d also been considering the Yachtmaster in rose gold. Both are on black rubber. Has anyone cross-compared these two, or more specifically compared the metals of GO and Rolex rose gold? I imagine they are different hues but I expect a challenge in finding somewhere to get them both side by side. Any thoughts welcome! |

I have not compared the 2 but love my SeaQ in stainless steel. In fact, I traded a YM40 stainless for it.
The finishes on the rose gold models for the YM and SeaQ are very different. The SeaQ is mostly brushed and the YM is all polished. Really depends on your taste. I would think you can get a great discount on the SeaQ in rose gold. That alone could be enough to persuade someone.

I have a red gold SeaQ pano date on the way. I'll post some IRL pics when it's in hand.

Man. GO's red gold is hella red and very warm. I am floored by how great it looks. Here are a couple of pics under different lighting
I think what sets it apart from a comparable Rolex model is definitely the vertically brushed sides. Such a lux detail. |

That looks great. I love the SeaQ. Does it have the same clasp as the steel version?

The above mentioned vertical brushing on the case. Such a cool touch.

Went to an AD and was able to compare side by side. Also included is a Moser my buddy was wearing.
The Rolex is definitely the most "rose" of the three with the GO being more orange in hue IMO. Hope this helps! |

My pleasure. It was really fun to go check out the Rolex. The sales person was very kind and understood the assignment!
