Real Jubilee Or Not

Hello Fellow Members,

The bracelet in the following photos came on a 16233 I purchased in 2001. I took the watch to my local AD and they sent it to RSC in Lititz, Pennsylvania.

RSC said "It is not manufactured by Rolex" and they would not service the watch unless they sold me a bracelet $$$. Needless to say I declined the service.

I commented to my local AD that Rolex is saying the bracelet is FAKE and she said, and I quote "They did not say the bracelet is fake, this is left to your interpretation".

Can someone tell me what would make RSC make this decision, what do you think they saw? As they offer no explanation. Sorry the bracelet is very dirty and was my daily driver.

Your input is greatly appreciated. Additional photos are available if needed, please just ask for specifics.

Not an expert but frankly don’t see any red flags on the bracelet. You can always bring the watch back to RSC on a leather band or nato and get it serviced; they will offer to sell you a new bracelet but you are not obligated to buy it.

Contact RSC directly and find out precisely what the issue is. Your AD is parsing words for reasons unknown.

The markings on the clasp do seem a bit sketch. The manufacturer year (two letter/digit), STEELINOX stamping and the bracelet reference stamping looks of poor quality.

Based on the OP’s sparse comments, I don’t see how any constructive opinion can be offered.

OP, RSC told you the bracelet was not made by Rolex. That means it is fake. Don't try to overthink things...
