Question: Are sunburst dials prone to blinding eyes in sun light at certain angles?

Only sunburst watch I have, is the sundust dial DJ41. I have never been able to get an accurate photo of that dial. Most photos come out making the dial look silver..... Sundust is awesome in person, but very difficult to capture in photos....

Really rare to find the factory original platinum big diamond dials in anything other than the silver color.

I've also seen a purplish blue before which seems to have been a Japanese market special.

This particular style of diamond dial is going to be rarer as Rolex had stopped making it regardless on the color of the dials. The current diamond dial on DD has a different way of mounting the diamonds. This new diamond dials mount the diamonds with a metal surround which makes the diamonds appear larger.
Personally, I prefer the old way of mounting the diamonds. The diamonds were mounted with prongs at 4 corners on the Brilliants and two prongs at both ends of the Baguettes.

The super rare factory salmon pink full baguette sunburst on an 18206. Have never seen this dial outside of a period Rolex catalog.

The Chocolate dial doesn't seem to get much love. However, I can assure all that it definately is a sunburst dial. And I LOVE my choco Yachtsman.
