Submariner 126610 LV bezel on 124060
I imagine the 126610 LV bezel would fit on the no date 124060.
Has anyone tried? If so, I'd love to see photos! |

I always said, a no date hulk would break the watch internet.
Like my Kermit/cermit, but don’t love it nearly as much as my hulk |

All it would take is sourcing a green bezel and taking it to a local watchmaker.
Problem is, I think the easiest way to source a green ceramic bezel is to buy a 126610LV. |

I wouldn't assume those bezels are interchangeable. They weren't on the five-digit Subs, no-dates vs. dates. Maybe it's different on the ceramics, but I'd definitely do more research.

I have an AD that has an in house certified Rolex watchmaker. I tried to get them to do this with an 11 series ND and LV bezel. They wouldn't even discuss the matter with me. As mentioned above, sourcing the bezel insert will not be an easy task.

I didn’t realize this, but makes sense. I wonder what would be different about it.

On the 5 digit subs, the diameter of the inserts were different between the Sub and Sub Date.

Go to 1:42 on this video. Eric did it with the hulk bezel on the 116610LN.

I’ll try putting my hulk bezel on my 114060 at the weekend, if it works on the 11’s can’t see why it wouldn’t on the 12’s.

Maybe blasphemy to some.
I used to have a black bezel on my 16610LV back in the day. I only bought the LV back then for the maxi-dial. That was all I cared about.

Submariner 126610 LV bezel on 124060
Just did a quick and dirty swap to my 116610ln and it’s a perfect fit, 114060 is packed away at the mo so as I said I’ll try that at the weekend.

Would love to see it, but Rolex has never had the submariner with anything else but black.

I'm sure I posted pics of it on this forum somewhere....although who knows where they were hosted back then. I'm sure links are dead.

I would expect that to fit as it’s sub date for sub date. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Well I can confirm it does, and looks pretty cool as far as I'm concerned. I'll try the 114060 at the weekend and probably stick with the Faux Starbucks (until I can get a 126610LV)as I love it. |

The 116610 bezels are fully interchangeable with the 114060 - I’ve got a 116619 bezel on mine right now. This doesn’t guarantee interchangeability between the 126610 and 124060, though I imagine it will work.

I'm really interested to see if this'll work as (as others have said) the 5 digit Sub and Sub Date were fractionally different.

So it’s a perfect fit. Gonna keep it like this for a few days then replace with an SD4K insert I’ve brought from a member here.
