116710 BLNR on perlon!

Hey guys,
I decided to give the perlon straps a shot as the hot and humid conditions in Florida can make the oyster bracelet a bit too much at times. I'm super happy with the comfort and ability to have infinite adjustments! I recommend giving them a shot if you are looking for something different than a NATO.

Just a cheapo from Crown & Buckle. Most perlon straps are quite similar from what I’ve gathered.

I'll be the first to admit that aftermarket straps aren't for everyone, but the watch really gets transformed into something you don't even realize you are wearing! It's that light and comfortable.

We’re in the minority here, as wearing a multi-thousand dollar watch on a cheap strap isn’t everyone’s cup o’ tea, but I like my perlon straps for a change every once in a while.

Looks pretty good. Perhaps better than on rubber.

Nice post, OP. Figured this would be unpopular, as the vast majority seem to prefer modern watches on the OEM bracelets.

I also wear my BLRO on straps due to work in some unsavory parts of the world. It makes you realize the 'bling' of the jubilee or PCL oyster actually takes away from the functionality/engineering of the case.

This might be the first non-bracelet version of the GMT I’ve ever liked

While I think the Oyster bracelet will always look best, I also think it looks great.

Even better since this is a solution that lets you wear and enjoy the watch more often.

I think it's great to bench the bracelet for a while. Might look for something like this.

I take it that you can wear these tight enough to prevent the more top heavy and weighty watches from sloshing about and also do you just use the existing spring bars?

Genuine question OP. How is this better than a metal bracelet in humid conditions?

I’ll venture a guess as I have a couple perlon straps. Moisture doesn’t get trapped under it like metal links when you sweat because it’s just a weave and not a tight one like a nato strap.
