At a similar price, I’d take the 126610LV all day.

Unusual that the GMT is a similar price.
I have a 2007 GMT and it wears and feels very different to a ceramic sub. I have the old LV sub (super case) which is what I'm basing my opinion on. I'd have to own both, I couldn't pick. GMT is classic shape and more useful. I'd get that first and add the LV when it comes, if you can. |

Totally different watches and I'd maybe just go for the Sub LV though the ceramic bezels on 6 digit watches are a complete turn off.
Why don't you consider the 16610LV which imo will last the test of time better than either subsequent LVs. |

16710. So versatile and classic. Good examples are harder to find and price is only going up (or at least stable, unlike the LV).
You can always get an LV at retail price later, just get on your AD's list. People are getting them fast. Of course, also depends on which one feels better on your wrist. Good luck. |

Concur! Hard to pass up good examples of those these days. I always try to specify single piece or collection in these posts because my answer is contingent on that response. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Are you worried about the 32xx movements, or not?

Well, I guess it depends on whether you're looking for something to put in a collection or something you're going to wear regularly.
If it's the latter, I would go LV all day. It's the best feeling- and looking- sub I've ever had on the wrist (of course that's highly subjective and strictly my opinion). |

The OP absolutely has to handle both watches as the build feeling is miles apart. The LVc will feel like its price point.

These watches are very different. You need to try them, or their nearest available equivalent, on. Once you have done this, you will know.

This is kind of how I look at it. I get the other side though, maybe someone’s time on a waitlist is worth more than $6,000. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I own both 16710 GMT and 116610 Sub…
Get the 16710 if you have a smaller/medium sized wrist. It is an elegant piece with the thinner case, tapered lugs, and lighter oyster bracelet due to its hollow center links. Agree with others here that the newest Subs feel clinical and less refined in a way. That said, they are rock solid due to the new clasps and solid bracelets. 16710 for timeless (get it?!) comfort you can sleep in, ceramic Sub for heavier feel and unquestionable durability. |

I am patiently waiting for Rolex to release a 41mm Coke GMT on a brushed Oyster bracelet with glidelock!
