Pepsi wait

Been on the list almost 5 years should I forget it and go grey?

My AD won’t give me any clue when I will get one

why yee esss

I mean you were on the list before the hype. Have you been getting other pieces you want? Are they getting more higher up in the ladder? If you're just waiting, there's no reason to think it'll be any different 5 years from now.

Life is short, dollars can be earned, get the watch and enjoy it now while you are able to, way too much energy is spent waiting and wondering when the phone will ring. Your AD is a big disappointment. I have a Pepsi and everytime I put it on my wrist I smile from ear to ear, wish the same for you, now go buy your watch!!

If you didn't get it in 5 years, you aren't getting it.

I tried multiple places over a 5 year period..bought a 37MM YM for my wife at one AD and 41DJ for me at another….that 126710 call was never coming. I went grey back in November when prices came back down to 18,xxx and pulled the trigger on a NIB 126710 BLRO. I’ve worn it everyday since.

I have a good relationship with my AD. I expressed an interest recently and was told 6 - 12 months. You're probably not on a real list my man.

Go grey and enjoy! If you ever get the call (which likely won't happen), then just sell the old one

It is very unlikely you will get one if they haven’t delivered in 5 years.

Have they sold you anything else in those 5 years that leads you to believe a Pepsi may be next?

Took my 3 years to get an LV sub from one of my ADs but I did get a few other rolex pieces in the mean time that built up to it

Separate but unrelated, how many folks here text with with their SA?

I’m a purely email or in-person communicator at this point when comes to buying watches but that’s just me

I was able to get a Batman via AD, but I gave up waiting for a Pepsi and found one through a private sale here. 5 years is way too long, hell if I don't get it after a year or two of consistent communication with the SA then I just assumed it's a no.

With so many different experiences from "walked into the AD and bought one" to "waiting for 5 years or more" posted here, there, and yonder, I'd have to recommend grey in your case. I got mine with no buying history after about a year's wait time. Seemingly, no rhyme or reason...

UK is a very different market. I'd literally go grey waiting that long for a watch.

The current BLRO was announced in March of 2018, yes almost five years ago. If you asked for one at launch and still haven’t gotten it from this AD, they’re not going to deliver.
My dealer delivered their first one in June of that year, I got mine that December. They told me it was the 12th one they had received.

My SA and I text - she’s become a friend as I’ve been buying jewelry and Rolexes for years now.

Does not seem like you are getting one. You can try this, tell the AD you are considering going grey, give AD a month if still nothing. Buy from Trusted Seller, hardest part will be picking between Jubilee or Oyster!

As others have mentioned, after 5yrs they have no intent to sell you one. You can have one on your wrist within 24hrs from the secondary. 5yrs from now when you have enjoyed the watch that long you will have long since shrugged off the premium. Waste not another day.
