Buy now. Sell it once you received another one from AD.

I think that your time has passed on that list. You'd have to guess that they keep adding bigger spenders to the top of the list. Life is short.

I'd wait for grey to come a bit further down, closer to MSRP.

You've waited HALF A DECADE and are nowhere closer... Was that worth it?

I'd go grey, get it now and enjoy it. Prices have come down to semi reasonable levels and who knows what happens in the next five years. Or if we're all even here...

Recommend going to secondary market. You just lost out on 5 years of wearing Rolex best model. Buy and enjoy that beauty now!

I mean you need to check you’re even on a list. Yes I would have gone grey by then.

Been waiting for a Pepsi from AD for nearly 4 years.... he came through on other watches, so I would not say my chances are dead in the water.

I would just say go grey for now, if AD comes up with something you can always sell and not lose anything.

I got mine after a 4 year wait, but I am sure buying a $60k Patek helped finally put me over the edge

Five years? 😂😂😂 No, you‘re not getting one at retail, ever. But now you have another opportunity to go grey and pay well over retail and way over what you would have paid on the grey market five years ago. And you‘ll forever know that you could have enjoyed that less expensive grey market watch for the last five years. But yeah, I‘m sure it‘ll be totally worth it.

5 years you aren't getting one. Find a better AD.

I got 3 GMT's inside of a year. BLRO, BLNR and Meteorite.

Grey or not is more of a subjective decision you'll have to mull over.

But for sure I'd try another AD. Some of this just seems random luck. A friend of mine got one within 3 months after making just 1 fairly modest ($6-7k MSRP?) non-Rolex watch from an AD. Go figure, right? But this is definitely the exception, not the norm.

I personally went grey for it. I had to scratch the itch, and I'm gambling that if prices haven't quite bottomed, we maybe close. If one day I get lucky at an AD, I'll just sell it. Or maybe I'll sell it before because I realize it's not for me after wearing for a while.

Do keep in mind that the BLRO is a watch that has never traded for MSRP since introduction in 2018. This is very different from, say, the BLNR, which ADs were regularly discounting as recently as 2015-2016. Granted some of this is timing, the BLRO was released right when the market overall started going nuts. But it's odd some people think this watch will one day trade for MSRP when it never has and demand is still vastly outstripping supply.

I waited about 5 weeks; I’m guessing your VIP status is not confirmed.
