Own both. Pepsi would be first to go. Most overrated Rolex there is.

I own both. I like the Pepsi better but cannot see parting with my Daytona.

Financially, a bad deal. Maybe Pepsi + $10k but not at $4k. I own both a BLRO and Daytona on OF, even if my Daytona was stainless I would NOT trade it. But if you’re bored with Daytona, then different story I guess. Pepsi wears bigger than Daytona and I think Daytona has better proportions.

Forgot to add pics! Pepsi is an awesome watch but not anywhere close to the Daytona.

Money aside, I would never do that trade. I’m a Daytona fan though, and have bought and sold enough GMTs to know that they’re not for me.

No chance, if you can get a Dayona you can get a BLRO.

I guess it depends on why you want to make that deal. Too many variables.

Even the typical black Daytona vs BLRO question is subjective and hard to answer in a vacuum. I would prefer the Daytona in any collection of >=2 as long as the other watch has a date function. As an only watch I'd go BLRO because I need a date and GMT is a more useful complication than chrono for me.

At the very least if you do the trade you should get more cash.

Completely your choice.

My 2 cents...
No, keep the Daytona. If you are tired of it now, then put it away for a month wear something else.

It will shine when you wear it again.

Yea, he is going to need $10k back for that trade to make any sense right now. A hell of a lot more $$ if they change the Daytona this year.

Go grey for the BLRO prices are very very low compared to 5 months ago ….. BLRO easy for $17k …. Daytonas on the other hand are keeping a little bit good the value

Not a good deal for you with only +$4K. I'm sure there are plenty of people on TRF that will offer you a sweeter deal if you want to move to the Pepsi. I think if you get rid of the Daytona you will regret it in the future. Don't do it.

I have both. In my view the Daytona is the best Rolex watch overall. While I enjoy my BLNR and BLRO I wouldn’t be without my Daytona’s.

But, it all depends on your use case. The BLRO is a decidedly more sporty look and may suit your individual style better?

I wouldn't. BLRO is great, but a Daytona Ceramic is just a bit greater. Especialy black dial.

Trade valuation for your Daytona seems a bit low. Both are grail watches though. That said though, gone are the days of $40k SS Daytonas as the market resets. Surprised you would want to well the Daytona so quick, unless you saw it as a stepping stone to a Pepsi. Some deep introspection is required before you make the trade. Good luck.

Not a chance. The black dial Daytona is a much nicer watch, and the cash trade is way low.

Even if the cash was higher, I wouldn't make that trade. You can get a Pepsi easier down the line.
