Exciting and spontaneous afternoon at RSC London. It’s possible and easy!

I got back from my on call night shift this morning a bit tired and delirious.
I had this on my wrist (1993 16710) and I absolutely love it.

It was 9am and RSC St James in London had just opened...so I decided to give them a call.

After some convincing they agreed to let me do it.
Exactly 2 hours later, I had this on my wrist:

a brand new Pepsi bezel insert and a Brand new 62510 Jubilee bracelet that is correct to the watch.

And best part is that they let me keep all the old stuff, the oyster bracelet and my fat font serif black bezel insert.

Feels like a brand new watch!

Excellent! I´ve never been a fan of the black bezel GMT myself, and what you´ve had done has completely tranformed your watch! Beautiful on the Jubilee! Must have cost a pretty penny, but definitely worth it! BTW, very nice photos!

That's terrific! Now you've got two distinct versions, both appealing in their own way.

Congrats! A great way to celebrate the most versatile watch Rolex ever produced. I enjoyed my visit to Rolex St James back in 2008 as well when purchasing a black/ burgundy insert for my 16710.

Well done! Looks great. Nice to hear that they let you keep all the extras. I thought they would've been more finicky about the switch. Wonderful that they were not.

Money very well spent. I do not see why any watch out of warranty can not get the desired, dial, bezel or bracelet at RSC.

I didn't get the watch serviced. Just the change of bezel and purchasing the bracelet was around £1K

So if I get the call from the AD that my gmt has arrived can I also order the Pepsi bezel if I receive the batgirl?

Your watch looks vastly better to me.

I posted this question before in the wrong thread. I am sorry.

Awesome! Congrats! I’m also looking to do that. In fact, I inquired about a jubilee bracelet at the NYC RSC today, and they told me it’s backordered until March. Wished it was this easy!

That's a fantastic result. Congratulations.

I was at Rolex St James last week. Great people, great service, and a nice part of the smoke to hang out in for a couple of hours.
