Breitling service prices

Hi,
This is the estimate for my Breitling Navitimer Chronograph. What do you think about the prices? Overpriced or not? I decided to go with all of those options but I would like to hear your opinion.

Glad to hear you went ahead with it, I would've done the same. I've got 4 Chronograph watches in my collection at the moment and can attest to the slightly increased service costs. Any of the major brand will be around this range if not more. You've got to pay to play, I guess.

The good news is it'll last your lifetime and beyond, so good call keeping this thing in the best of shape and serviced.

Breitling is one of the few companies that publishes its service costs on its website, so they are what they are. That is a nice discount they are offering on the new strap, but for the same price you can get custom made straps from many makers, and there are many aftermarket straps for significantly cheaper.

Not terrible. Their crystals are always really expensive, and their use of a double-AR means that the coating on the outside generally gets scratched up over time and will commonly be advised for replacement when going in for service.

That said, you can always remove the coating on the outer portion yourself with a minor abrasive, and it's still pretty legible. For a Navitimer, though, I think having the double AR is really nice so I think you made a good call.

Seems like a fare price to me for the work to be performed.
She will be like new and it's a watch that can last forever.
