Panerai P.9100 question - New to Panerai

Hi guys,

Relatively new to TRF but not watches. Just ordered my first Panerai, a PAM01298 as I absolutely love the look of it and don't have a ceramic watch yet. I have a collection which includes Rolex, Patek, Vacheron, Ulysse Nardin, Omega, Girard Perregaux, etc. The Panerai is something so different.

Reading some bad blood on here regarding Panerai movements but never seem to see the P9100 mentioned, is it alright? Can't seem to find out much about it on the web either other than WatchBase? Seems unique with the centre jumping minutes hand for the flyback so I was drawn to it.

Thanks in advance.
