First Omega, and Cant Size It! Arrrgh!

So been watch collecting for about 4 years now, but this is my first Omega... a 2020 Tokyo Olympics "Black". Beauty of a watch! And man, the box it comes with is fantastic, too.

But the bracelet is way to large for my wrist. Being a creature of instant gratification, I want to wear this sucker at work tomorrow... so up to my home office with my watch repair kit, and find... none of my screw drivers fit the screws in the bracelet! WTH? (or maybe the screws are just tight, and the drivers keep slipping out)

So looks like a trip to the mall sometimes in the next couple of days to get it sized by a jeweler.

First World problems... but soooo frustrating!

I can't recall what size screwdriver is required for that, but I'm certain someone on here can confirm. Once that's confirmed maybe you'll be able to get the right one on Amazon or something.

Wow, sounds like a nice new Omega. But then how would we know for sure without some photos?

Anyhow, sorry to hear of the difficulty. It actually may be a blessing because those screws are actually just tiny little caps that secure a slide-out pin, and they're too small to handle easily. Also, the Loctite Omega uses must have been specified by NASA because it's very difficult to break those tiny screw-caps loose (that may be why your screwdriver isn't doing the trick for you). Soaking the bracelet in very hot water for five minutes is my favorite way to ease the difficulty.

Went to the AD yesterday, and he took out 3 links. A little tight that way, but a little loose with just 2 links... so he is going to order me a half link.
