I really like the 16560 polar, but I wouldn’t give up my 214270 to own one. The explorer is one of my favorites.

I love the simple elegenace of the Explorer , I dream about it. I was going to buy it before I purchased my 16570 , I don’t regret it though. The 16570 is double the watch IMO. I still want to purchase the Explorer but will have to wait until my funds are correct. Both cool watches , though.

I'll keep the Explorer.
I don't have one yet but it's in my list next. |

I would yes. But the exp1 is my favourite Rolex by a distance.

Nope. Just added to your collection later on. White dial Explorer is a great watch.

I would keep the Polar and look for a gently used 114270.

Explorer ll vs Explorer
No way. The Exp 2 40mm was my first ever Rolex. I purchased it a few years ago which I’ve since sold and regret immensely. It was the best bang for buck sports Rolex imo and went with endless natos/strap combos

I don't know that I'd switch, but I can hardly wear anything else after getting my MKII last summer, including my BLNR. It's at once more subtle (I don't like the flash of the BLNR for my work) and also very elegant. Without a doubt this would be my one watch for the 'one watch' (ridiculous) hypothetical.
Of course, I do have a 16570 polar on the way. |

I prefer the 36mm Explorer I over both :-) I think the 39mm just has too much empty space. Between the Explorer II and the 39mm Explorer I, I prefer the Explorer II
