Finally! (DayC content)

After a 50% cash deposit ....... and almost 2 1/2 years of waiting ........ finally ......... I requested a deposit refund!!!!

C'est la vie. Major metro area, no previous relationship, only modest jewelry repair business in the interim. That's the way it goes these days. No sense tying up money or thinking about it anymore. Time to move on.

Looks like you are already top of the tree as far as Daytona’s go... Defo time to move on.

Glad you were able to get your deposit back. It's a shame they couldn't hold up their end.

I can’t believe they weren’t able to get you the Daytona in 2.5 years. I would’ve done the same, probably sooner.

Glad you got it back. Insane they weren't able to get you one after waiting this long with that size of deposit in their bank!

Good deal for them I wonder how many other 6k interest fee loans they were able to use for the past 2 1/2 years.

I’m sure you would have preferred to get the watch. Really sorry. What a great Christmas present you could have had. One door closes, another one opens. Keep the faith my friend

Out of curiosity, did you ask them how many they received in that span?

It's really a relief to no longer wonder if/when I'm going to get this bad boy.

My wife would (correctly) strongly disagree. I went in several times intent on requesting my deposit back, but didn't follow through until last week (check just came today). I think the white SS Daytona is the most fun way to spend $12,400 there is and it's gorgeous. I'll just have to live without one. The Daytona I am lucky enough to have takes a lot of the sting out of it.

Funny it says...

Not really. It was clear that they had higher priorities. Original estimate (as shown on deposit) was mid 2017.

You should send a copy of that to RUSA and complain that Razny never came through.
