Favorite non-Rolex Pepsi?

I know there have been some discussions and websites devoted to this, but I’m hoping to get an updated view on this. If you had less than 2k to spend on a Pepsi bezel GMT, what would you go for?

I don’t hate the Tag Aquaracer, which can be had used at that price point (or maybe even discounted to that point at a dealer), but I know Tag can be polarizing. The Armand Nicolet and Christopher Ward pieces are interesting too, as are the Seiko and Ball options, though the Ball is a bit too busy, I think.

I’m also tempted to keep saving up and get a lug-holes 16710 at some point. But those are hanging around 10k.

:) there’s also Matthey-Tissot and a few others that are straight-up GMT2 knockoffs. I’m sorry, homages.

Yes, though I’m not sure it’s reachable under 2k—?

If you dont want homages I think the best choice should be the Tudor for pepsi.
+1 for the Tudor

I have the Tudor Pepsi GMT on distressed leather and I love it!!!
You may be able to hunt around preowned from trusted sellers and get close with and older model with ETA movt which some prefer, rather than the in house movt from Tudor ...

Oh. Didn't see that.

Other than the Tudor, I'm all about the Timex. Not a GMT, fair enough, but cheap as chips, proper vintage looks, makes no bones about what it is. Honest as they come.

If it's got Snoopy on the dial, even better...

Love it.

I’d just save for the 16710.

Yeah I probably need to learn my lesson (which I should have learned from experience already.) Better just to save for the piece you want than to buy a bunch of less satisfying pieces along the way—faster, temporary gratification, but you end up paying so much more by the time it’s all over and done.

My Seiko PADI on a StrapCode jubilee. Not a GMT so I'm photo bombing!

You can check out Christopher Ward. Although not a Pepsi, I love the Zodiac ZO9403 GMT "Sherbet."
