Cobweb under strong sunlight
Folks,
I noticed on my Explorer 114270 that in direct strong sunlight on the crystal, I can see like extremely superficial but visible cobwebs on the crystal. I asked my watchmaker about that, he couldn't see that, cause again, it's very hard to see, only under strong light... He said that he thinks that it's under the crystal though... Is any of you familiar with the phenomenon? I have had the watch for 3 years now... Noticed that a long time ago... Thought about asking though... Thanks in advance! https://drive.google.com/file/d/1pn_...w?usp=drivesdk |

It appears normal. Part of the manufacturer process. Two of mine have the same.

An hour ago you said your watchmaker couldn’t see it... If it was new from an AD 3 years ago then don’t mess with it until it is past the warranty period. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

No, he couldn't see it, but he said that he assumes that it is on the underside according to my description. I wrote that on the original post...

I think it’s normal to ask.
At least it’s not another “no SS sports anywhere” thread |

Guys,
I am not looking too hard at my watch, I wanted to do an overall, but my watch was absolutely performing like a monster... 325 amplitude, 0.1 bit error, 0.5 seconds per day... Then I wanted to ask the watchmaker if it's worth replacing the crystal because of that... And he said no... It is something that I noticed a long time ago but wanted to know if I should do anything about it, that is it... Thanks for the help everyone! |
