Interestingly enough my rep from my dealership actually said it’s not bad. No need to replace it.

He’s actually sending it out to be fixed. Not replaced. If the head of service is telling me this, I feel pretty good about it.

Hello All!

I've seen a Lotus Elise S2... among monsters (by their size or their power if not the two at the same time) and very few light cars (like a MG Midget).

Here are my two Lotus cars:

A very rare standard LHD 1968 Lotus Seven S3 and a 1998 PTP 165 Lotus Elise S1 prepared for the track.

The weight of the seven is around 500 Kg. The one of the Elise is 764 Kg.

We also have a Jaguar S type for the family. A good car as well. At least a comfortable one...

Oh well, as some friends have mentioned, cost of ownership.

Time for some forged hre/anrky wheels.

Those look pretty compromised for heavy duty use. If restraighten, I would use it for just winters. Ideally, I would just pick up a used replacement on the fchat or eBay.

I'll have to happily keep driving my simple Pcar and admire his garage from afar.
That being said.....if prices keep coming down for the .1 3RS, I have my eye on a purple one......

I’ve been eyeing a purple GT3 also. Really nice cars!! The rational move would be a gwagon since I’ve got a mid engine sports car.... but that purple Porsche beckons.

Yeah. Hard to compete with that. Not that you are competing. But you get what I’m saying.

And your p car is awesome. I actually looked at a GT3 and a separate RS this weekend. I drove the GT3 and all I can say is wow. That’s a truly outrageous vehicle. Mind numbingly responsive with endless power.

Im truly starting to think that Porsche makes the most impressive cars around.

Got to have a little fun before it got some real upgrades to make it Offroad ready. Range rovers and g wagons can’t hang.

Ditto.

They're easy to ignore but once you drive a few and you start understanding them more... they are masterpieces. I'm pretty hooked on them myself and although I want a classic... the 981 and 997.2 among a few others are true driver's cars. Absolutely love them.

Yep that’s me driving in the video. Was actually looking at the new G wagon but I’ve been off-roading my whole life and decided it was better to get a Cari Ram again. Perfect kid hauler and can beat the crap out of it. Over 500hp/1000 ft lb can tow a house and still get 20 mpg on the highway.
