World time enamel cloisonné

May I ask how difficult it is to get 5231G?

I have been collecting patek since 2017 . I was asked if i am interested in applying 5231G after I acquired 5160/500g 2 months ago . No doubt it is a magnificent watch to me too !

I was told this must be approved by the patek itself in Switzerland so I never have the guts to ask the AD to put it into the wishlist

It’s beautiful and for me everything Patek means to me. Engraving, retrograde PC and officer case back - congratulations and please do apply for the 5231G so lovely especially with the map of Asia - my wife wants to because it shows the Philippines

An application piece and needs to be approved by Geneva. You need a pretty significant collection before it’s approved apparently. I have given up hope now as lost AD recently so will probably try acquire a 5131 used instead.

If you were asked for the interest then chance should be high in getting the 5231. For me I would do so if the chance arrived.

*sorry, why cant you share pic of your watch ? and what have that to do with VIP status ?

Many congrats on obtaining the 5160/500g, it is an amazing reference.

5231G does not need approval from Geneva, it is up to the AD and regional distributors (Libertas in your case) to decide who gets one.

I can't see any issues that stops you from obtaining a 5231G

I only have 5811 in my wish list. I would love to get 5270 too but I have to save up or trade some of the collections before getting one

5231 much easier to obtain today. Back in the day, the 5131 was impossible to get. A truly coveted masterpiece.

retrograde pc is underrated. too bad they discontinued the 5159, which was more 'affordable' than its big brother. Both fab pieces.

I’ve heard the production the WT enamel having less than 50 per production of each metal , roughly only around 20 per year . Although no one can actually tell except patek itself

I really doubt it's that low, especially for 5231
