Decide what you want and have a conversation with your AD.

I'm sorry, but am I the only one who is perplexed how someone who can spend $70k on discretionary purchases has to ask how retail shopping works as a concept?

Furthermore, to ask if telling a retail store worker which product you would like to buy is being pushy is borderline nonsense.

Yes, go into the store and say "I'd like to buy a XXXXX when available please." That's how shopping works.

I'd love it if stores were telepathic and just sent me what I wanted, hooray no grocery shopping ever again.

I’d just let them know that you want to add X (Pepsi, Daytona, whatever it is you want) before you add any more PM pieces to the collection.

Don’t demand, but let them know what you want and that potential future purchases are on hold until you get it.

I used to think the “is it safe” threads were cringeworthy.

Now customers are worrying about asking if they can buy a watch from an AD with a purchase history?

What does anyone think is going to happen if you don’t ask?
You’ll get a random lottery pick and phone call?

What bad things does anyone think will happen if you do ask?
That you’ll be blacklisted for expressing interest?

I’ve never been sold a watch without asking for it first.
