Yes, this is a Rolex forum but I think thats not a good move. The GS is extremely plain and the Yacht-Master has many different angles and polished areas which work in perfect contrast with with the brushed bracelet and matt finish on the bezel insert.

The design and construction always catches the eye in sunshine, artificial and low light.

I have decided to keep the YM.
I love the GS "because" of it's simple, yet elegant design and execution.
I am a simple man who doesn't dress up often so the YM just does not get worn as often as it should, so I thought the GS would fit the bill more often, which leads me to a question for you all:

Should a YM be worn as a casual watch? You know, blue jeans and t-shirts and boots?

Just wanting to get a sense of the pulse here concerning wearing.

I don't want to "over" wear my watch, if that makes sense.

The YM is a stunning watch in my opinion.

Thanks.

Probably a good decision. Other than a Cellini, there are very few Rolex I wouldn’t wear casually

Thanks for that. I'll feel more confident wearing it casually.

I agree. And, I might add I think the casual wear category is an area that the Rolex sports watch excels in, regardless of the metal.

I think the Yatti is a great "casual" watch, perfect with a Tshirt and jeans!!
To me, I think the GS is more a "dress" watch than your Yatti, looks more elegant.
IMHO

LE GS which won't be around long. Not many left need to make your move.
