As they can’t deliver for Xmas, tell them you must have it in the first week in Jan as you want to start wearing it in “CALENDAR WEEK 1”

Calendar week 1 starts in the 30/12/19. I guess a manual intervention will be needed to skip week 53.

Will need to get used to this new calendar function.

To me this watch is beautiful but I’m surprised that it is in such high demand (I know its a steel Patek etc etc) But if you don’t run your business on the weekly calendar, I believe most people are unaware of this type of need.
Dare I commit heresy and suggest the function will in reality be used as often as the Chonograph feature on the Daytona.

I don’t use a winder. Easy to set.

Thanks!

Quick response before, but a little more detail: The date adjusts with the crown and there is a pusher for each of the day and week indicators. Much easier than I was anticipating.

Steel calatrava will always be in demand and the 5212A will always be a waitlisted model and appreciate every year. Not to the same extent as the "AquaTilus" line but will be a rare piece in the line up. Furthermore it is a completely new complication based on the modern 330 so again, unique movement, unique material, etcetc

Got mine 3 days ago. Apparently one of the very first in Australia. Anyone else from Australia has got theirs? Very surprised how well this watch fit in with T-shirts, sweaters, and shirts! The more I wear this watch the more I love it!

congrats all! I love this reference. Whats the lug-lug height? Looks like it wears a little bigger than on-paper would suggest? What do all of you new owners think so far?

So to explain my previous post

I was sitting in the train when the chrono24 app gave me an heads up that there were two new Weeklies being offered on chrono. On was 'price on request' but the other one had a asking price...... of 30.500 euro ...
That is MSRP !!

The watches are gone now but I hope that this is going to be more common as time goes by and the watch will get more and more available at a 'normal' pricepoint.

I did not pull the trigger because the watch was offered in the US and I would have to get on a plane to get it or pay 10K extra on taxes to get the watch in my country. When this watch comes up in the EU, i'm jumping on it

Not sure of measurements but when I tried it on it felt pretty true to size and fit well on my 6.75 inch wrist

I agree, next to a Patek person I'm also a Rolex person. If I can't get the one, i'm moving in the other direction :P

Clearly either a mistake or fake advert for some reason.

Not sure about lug to lug width. The watch doesn't wear large IMO. It is very thin (10.6mm?) so it can sit flat on the wrist. The best is to try one on @ local AD, even if the watch is assigned to someone else. However, id like to mention things I've noticed on my 5212a.

1. Very light in weight, certainly lighter than my 5960 1A and my other Rolexes, which I've changed the bracelet to the leather strap. Not sure if anyone prefers a hefty watch, this non-top heavy watch may let you down.

2. Fits well with formal attire, t-shirt, polo & sweaters. According to my male/female friends. Highly versatile.

3. The Stop second is interesting and I am still getting used to seeing it on a Patek.

4. This watch is certainly not flashy, doesn't have the bling factor if that matters. However, my female friends all love this watch heaps as they mostly commented 5212a being so elegant.

Just my 2c

The picture on the Camille Fournet box?

The blue strap from the 5172G will fit if Patek will sell you one?
