Speedmaster Bezel Material

Does anyone know what material the bezel on a modern Speedmaster Moonwatch is made from?

I am looking into purchasing one but I want to know what sort of scratch resistance I should plan on. I am looking at the sapphire crystal as well.

It's metal, probably steel, and it has a black finish applied (paint or powder coating of some sort? Not sure).

Either Aluminum or Ceramic depending on model.
