Is there such a thing as named omega warranty?

I know Rolex name their warranty cards nowadays.

But does Omega do the same thing?

I'm about to purchase a Tokyo 2020 panda from a seller which he purchased from Tokyo. He told me the AD will only send him the warranty card in Jan 2020 and I'm not sure will it be named and he is unsure as well.

Screenshot the conversation between me and the seller. What does he mean by "Omega international warranty request postcard"?

I'll be interested hear what others say, but I believe if you have the card, then you have the warranty. Having the receipt from the original sale would be a good thing, if you can get it.

Also, I don't think it would hurt to phone Omega Customer Service and explain that you're purchasing a watch under warranty from a private seller who is providing a card, and see what they advise.

sounds legit to me. was in osaka 2 months ago and the omega sales staff told me the same thing. My friend who was with me did the purchase and the warranty card came within 1-2 months.

Red flag for me unless I’m buying from an AD, and even then I wouldn’t like it.

None of my cards have my name on them. All boutique bought.
