Zagg Scratch Protection System Review for fellow OCD'ers..
First of, I am not affiliated with Zagg or the seller of the said custom InvisiShield skins. Merchant of this scratch protection system uses the proven and well known Zagg brand used for mobile phones. These are cut to perfection with the quality of material used being self healing and premium. I do not know how it compares to the other eBay sellers with similar products but with inferior material used.
Secondly, I know these products do not get much love in the forums but I decided to install these on my brand new DJ having OCD and all. I know that I will eventually get scratches but having a little peace of mind for a $10k watch right out of the box works for me. Besides, they are virtually invisible and you will be the only one who knows that these are installed. Installation was straight forward and very easy. If you have installed a glass or screen protector on your phone, it is pretty much the same procedure. It came with a Zagg installation bottle of fluid but I used my Oakley cleaning solution instead as I have used in the past. A blowdryer helped speed up the drying process as while wet, the small pieces do move around while wet. A few seconds under low heat, skin stayed put and this is when you smooth away the extra fluid and bubble underneath. Initial installation will show a little imperfection or bubbles, but will go away overnight. The set I purchased came with extra pieces for each part protected. Set includes protection for the following: Case sides Full Clasp to include the sides Pros
Cons

Hard to tell if it really in invisible from those photos as I can't zoom in very well. Do you have any clearer shots?

It's nice of you to preserve the watch for the next owner.

Maybe the ebay folks are buying raw Zagg film and cutting it for various rolex models. Kinda like what the car paint protection installers do with 3M or Xpel film...the buy rolls of film and cut for a particular car.

I'd be the guinea pig and order, but I dont see one cut for the Sea Dweller. Anyone know if my SD will fit the ones cut for the Sub or DSSD, which they carry? Mainly looking for clasp protection.

wristguardpro.com makes the same thing from PPF and fits better. No gap around the clasp logo or orange peel.

Easy to remove with fingernails as I made my own with scissors with leftover skins for my MacBook Pro. Not pretty making my own, so I decided to purchase these. |

This topic has certainly been beaten to a pulp.
To each their own but I can’t imagine this stuff on any of my watches. Nothing lasts forever, nothing remains perfect.

Don’t forget the fluted bezel now. That’s a notorious spot for scratches. Also every individual link on the bracelet with emphasis on the EZ link as it is a high friction area.

I'm just prolonging the current state of my new DJ.. Probably won't install another set when they do eventually wear out or come off. |

Actually, I cut a piece of scrap to install inside the clasp for the EZ link. I've seen others in the forum install felt sticker. |
