My account got taken over in the last 2 hours - under control now
I just changed the password but I believe PMs were sent about a Nomos and a lange both of which I was selling in the past.
He is sending messages to people trying to sell watches I've already sold in the past. What's strange is I just enabled 2 FA last night after hearing about some people getting hacked....what a coinicidence? I didnt' get any message about a login?? I've since changed my password now. |

I have just authenticated and reinstated this account!!!!!
Also verified 2FA is working well All pledge members should, as it is highly recommended for your security and those of your fellow members, to enable 2FA. Its easy and its free so there is no reason not to have 2FA.

The scammer msged 3 members according to my tapatalk PM history. They were deleted but I was able to track down 2 members that received.
Lange Updown GMT master 1978 And Nomos Worldtimer blue Again the scammer's phone number is (213) 295 1397 All three watches are sold and gone If you received PMs about these watches please report to the Moderators. Thanks again for the swift action by Steve and the TRF moderators! |

If you never clicked a phishing link before this hijack occurred, you may have other UID’s & passwords that were compromised. Perhaps change banking passwords and invoke 2FA for any you didn’t have.
Appreciate the heads up about the scammer. That phone number is one you can also report as an imposter - https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/Information#crnt Otherwise it seems this scam on TRF has been “nipped in the bud” like a dandelion before it puffs. 2FA is a beautiful thing to protect yourself and others from future scammer efforts.
