I actually mentioned this post elsewhere and mentioned the fact that after reading about your issue I was getting a little paranoid changing my own straps... . I did some calculations though and I must have swapped out straps on my 233 over 180x in the last 20mths (just this week, three different straps!) So I think you just got dealt a bad hand... . What did the return-letter from RSC say? I mean, "case change ... $0.-" ??? Same movement, rear-bezel etc? Everything tip-top (dial, hands, etc)? There was a post just yesterday about RSC Texas shipping back a PAM ... to the wrong address... Crazy stuff, man...
