Incoming 3523.81 Japan Speedmaster Triple Date 2002
I almost bought this model 3 months ago but pulled back. Found another one this week from a Trusted Ebay Japan Seller and managed to win the auction.
Apparently this is a JDM only watch and only 1000 were made. Here are pictures from Eiji's posting (if I can get it to work). Any triple date fans out there? |

I understand that the blue dial with arabic numbers is only for Japan and limited to 1000 pieces. I think they also did one in black dial with arabic in the same quantity (different reference number). It is in transit now and I am excited to get it.

triple date Omega's...
Great watches guys: I almost purchased a 3510 reduced size with the blue/white dial, apparently a Japanese model. I failed to get it on a few auctions, then moved over to the Rolex brand- though I might pick one up one day...
Your triple date is so nice, a local store has one in near new condition, with boxes, etc for $2,400. It's a great looking watch, the only thing that worries me is that my Rolex contacts keep telling me that the Omega's don't gain/retain value the way Rolex models do... I don't know if that's correct, I think the Omega's like these are simply at a lower price point... and will retain value,.... Your thoughts...?

A little too busy for my own tastes, but neat watches nonetheless.

Great shots. Love the black version with silver subdials (I think the day and month printing in white on black inside the sub-dials is a better design choice).

My first automatic ever. After 6 years it is only 0.5s slow per day but I don't wear it much unfortunately.

I think my next watch will be the Triple Date. It would be nice if you could set the 24 hour sub dial for a second time zone.

Very cool watches. Thanks for sharing.
My wife liked my blue triple date so I had the bracelet adjusted down to her size and gave it to her to wear as a weekend watch. Looks amazing on her. I love the watch but only thing I would change is the silver bezel which makes it a bit too bright for me... if she gives it back to me I might try to find a black or blue bezel that would fit... does anybody know if this would be possible? |
