nice comparison shot, panos.

given the angle and positioning, the pic accentuates the 372's size compared to the explorer ii. if you have a moment, it would be great to flip the order of the watches, take a pic and then post both pictures. i think the dramatic size difference will be slightly less dramatic.

Unfortunately i can't comply , Cru because i no longer own the 216570.
I traded it with my 312 but i wasn't ready to part with my 312, so i reversed the trade (one of the good things to trade with friends ).

But even if i could and having in mind that the 216570 has a lot of presence on the wrist the difference wouldn't be slightly less dramatic.

372 is a big watch and look in that pic, even the 44 Airman looks small besides it !!!!

It's definately worth considering now that vegetable tanned straps are availible...

In THEORY, I shouldn't react allergically to those straps since no Chromium was used in the tanning process but I've yet to try wearing a vegetable tanned strap... must say I'm a bit reluctant / sceptical since I'd hate to get that rash again.

Hell yeah... I will never put money in a chromium one! a) health reasons and b) I realized how that unnatural material does not give good "vintage look" to the leather c) get real broken-in vintage!
