Thanks everyone, lots of you were the reason I noticed the 372. Always helpful with your comments and personal experience with your Pams.
Giddy? Still? oh yeah!

They were asking about 10,700 USD. But the shop I was in is pretty firm with their prices and they priced all their watches a lot higher than the shop where I got my own.

Congratulations on your anniversary and the choice of 372. It must have been difficult to decide between the finalists. Thank you for sharing the event and occasion through pictures. Inspired choice wearing the shoes and going to a favorite Italian restaurant. Such a huge stack of banknotes made it seem as though you were paying in lira--that might have been carrying it too far. Enjoy your watch!

So again, thanks to you and other kind members for all the help and suggestions.
Glad that worked out..maybe a Get Together at the 101 Boutique next May when I go back..

Thanks for the kind comment.
and yes, I had a few finalists in the running and the 372 is the one that got me.

It was an Italian day for us all around. Since our currency does not come in any bills larger than a 1,000 note, it sometimes takes a lot of them to buy something big and wonderful. Lira, oh the good old days, when you could get a bottled water for a few thousand lira.
Cheers!

Sounds fun! There seems to be a few members from Taiwan on this board.
We could hit up 101 to try on all the watches at the ADs and then head on over to the small shops where the deals are to be had.

Thanks! One of the reasons I decided on this watch was because of your photos. Your photos just made the watch look so accessible and easy to wear.
Cheers! And thanks for continuing to post photos of this amazing model.

372 is more beautiful than 422 IMO
422 is too much lookalike to 111

yes, someone mentioned that the 422 looks like a giant 111.
But, I really like the 111, and I would love a giant one, so the 422 is pretty cool looking for me.
In the end, I am glad I got what I did, but I am looking for a daily beater as well so am still on the hunt for another Pam.

I think that is reason enough for me to get married at the tender unmarried age of 33, if there is something like that waiting for me in 10 years time ;)

well there you go, the 111 would make a perfect daily beater, or the 005 Logo perhaps, or the 177 (Ti version), or the 115 (destro version) or the 117 (Ti *and* destro version)...

No doubt i love my liquid metal Imo its one of the most beautiful watch i have seen , the ceramic dial is a thing to behold and admire i just love staring at the beauty of the dial and the bezel , only thing that compels me to sell it is the size which i find small as i wore the PO 45mm regularly and my pam 005 , still i know i will miss my LM like hell 

I know what you mean, I look at my Submariner as my little watch now.
