Re sale value , or any opinions ?
I almost pull the trigger but really not sure about this brand.

Between these two , first one or or second one looks better ?

Very exclusive, especially the OPUS range.

Some very cool pieces but lacking in any horological heritage for me.

I handled a $238K HW and it was very interesting, but totally outrageously out of my price range...most people that buy those just put them in a safe and never wear them.

I think they are expensive, that's pretty much it

I would spend my watch money elsewhere (not that I am at a position for that price segment)

But I guess if all friends are wearing AP and Hublot, and you need something different and expensive ...

Not true. HW has advanced watchmaking with some seriously cool complicated movements. My issue with HW is the lack of heritage which detracts nothing from the watchmaking credentials of the company.

Lack of heritage and short history of producing timepieces equals not a watchmaker in my book. I could hire a trained watchmaker, slap my name on the face but I still wouldn't be a watchmaker. I have the same issue with HW watches that I do with the Ralph Lauren watches. RL is a fashion company who decided to capitalize on the high end watch market. Do you consider RL a watchmaker? I didn't think so.
