the Black/Blue combo is definitely more flashy.
MSRP is too high for a SS Rolex.....Id go all black, for now
(had one now sold)

Thank you for sharing the side-by-side pic

I would go for the Blue/Black. The reason is that there are lots of all black dials and the Blue/Black is really different and fun. And we can all use a little fun in our life.

pick anything you like most :)
since they are not vintages so you can switch anytime back and forth between two.
but I'd go for blue/black because its new!!!

I prefer the black-black myself, but it sounds like you are quite drawn to the BLNR.

I think the blue-black can be as versatile as you want it to be and would be a good choice for you.

Blublk for me - Extremely versatile watch. The GMT needs a bicolour bezel IMO and this combination works exceptionally well. Mine has stayed on whether it be with a business suit or jeans/casual - Outstanding design.

black all the way - i thinkk the blue (shade, anyway) is too close in color to the black portion.

if you like the look of the blue, however, and your only concern is coordinating with clothes, etc. i would get the blue - the is so little color there anyway its not like its going to be an eyesore or anything

I just love how it works well with jeans or with slacks. I also agree that the GMT II is meant to have a two color bezel.

This is a tough choice. Both are awesome looking watches to begin with.

If you own a black SubC or SD or DSSD, then get the black/blue GMTIIC. Vice versa if you don't own either of those I had mentioned.

Cheers.

What AD did you see them at? The AD in Richardson I normally go to has not received any, the guy working there tried to tell me they were not even released yet!

BLNR...

Wearing sleeves and want sporty? Rotate the bezel and show off the blue and black...

Wearing a blue suit? Rotate the bezel and only show the blue side...

Formal? Rotate the bezel and only show the black...

I just really wish They'd given the BLNR a RED GMT HAND. It would pop so nice...and...then, it would still be a "Pepsi", too

$1k difference? More like a $3k difference. You can find LN's for $7k all day long, whereas the OTD price of the BLNR is around $10k (in Canada).

Personally I would go with the BLNR as long as it's your second (or third, fourth, etc) watch.

The price difference is crazy in my opinion. Then again, even if they were the same price I'd still opt for black. Such a classic look and it will go with anything.

If money is no object or on all looks I'd say blue/black.

For the money, tough to swallow the premium over what the all black can be had for.

price difference is a little much right now...but that wouldnt cause me to drop 7k on a watch that really wasnt my first choice

I would go black. Nothing to do with the price difference, I just really don't like that shade of blue. Plus blue and black don't really go together.

There I said it
