Mine with a bit of old school astronaut flair. Don't knock until you try it.

Great thread Karl!

I don't know why but I've just never bonded with this one, something to do with chemistry maybe

Old school astronaut, that's funny but I understand. Interesting bracelet

The grey NATO I currently use on it is from 'Crown & Buckle' - it has stitched fastenings for the metal parts, which have black (PVD) coating, if that's the one you mean...

I also buy nylon straps from Gnomon.

I think both those suppliers are excellent. I have owned a couple of 'Phoenix' admiralty grey straps, and, although I really love the colour, I have found the quality to be a little under par (both the buckle and the weave in the nylon), and the holes/spacing is not right for my wrist-size.
Thanks - will check out C&B and Gnomon

Very happy you didn't decide to do that with the Red, Pete

Yeah, I'm aiming for a DRSD so I had to part with my red. I'm just glad it went to someone that is getting more wear out of it than I did!

She definitely went to a good home. Goodluck finding the Drsd. I love those...I just can't justify the price right now. So I'm sticking with the red for now.
