What should I add next to my modest collection?
Here's my small collection of some Rolexes and a Tudor. I'm thinking about getting a BLNR next since most of the time I'd be rocking jeans and sneakers.
They are in this particular order: Tudor Heritage Black Bay Midnight Blue, Explorer II 16570 Polar, Explorer I 214270 and 116610 LV (Hulk): I know I need a little red in there but I don't like the Pepsi much unless it's the WG which costs too much for me. I also like Milgauss but read here that it's sort of thick and top-heavy so that's a no go since I have small wrists and really don't like the top-heavy watches (Breitlings come to mind). Blue dial DJII also on my radar so what do you guys think I should add next to the collection and of course, I'm going to try them on first if I can find them at local AD. Please vote using the poll above and thanks in advance for any advice or input you guys may have. |

I like your collection, nice balance. If it were me I'd add the pepsi.

For a little bit of red, probably a coke GMT. BLNR would be nice, just suggested a blue dial Yachtmaster elsewhere, may as well here too.

Voted for the 116300 with blue dial based on your collection. However, for me, I would get the BLNR. In any event, either one would be a great addition to your more than modest collection.

I forgot about the Coke! It seems to be flying under the radar on this forum (Pepsi seems to be a more popular choice)... and of course, it won't let me edit the poll. lol |

I wouldn't pick any of the choices you have listed. Go with either an SS white face Daytona or blue face Yachtmaster. Either of which will give your collection a nice balance.
Good luck whatever you go with.

I say stray from Rolex. A Speedy Pro would do nicely.

That would be the blue DJII smooth bezel.
Thanks Eric and I like both of them. The 116300 is a little too dressy for me but of course, it doesn't hurt to have one in case I need to go formal. My collection is nothing compare to yours or Dr. Tom's. |

Yeah, I'd add a ss Daytona or a Speedy as well or a GMTIIc LN. Of the options presented though, I'd go BLNR.

I already have a PO and a Seamaster 300m. Somehow, the Speedy Pro isn't really my thing. The one I really like is the DSOTM. |

Red Tudor BB on strap. Then you get red, and the bracelet and strap can be used on both the blue and red.

SS Coke GMT C... oh wait it doesn't exist
Ok, being more serious I would get the BLNR or a DJ 36mm would fit your wrist better. |

I think....
A different brand, maybe a holy trinity if that's in the budget, would be cool. Like a royal oak or a Patek nautilus/aquanaut would be cool. -or- The blue dial datejust with a fluted bezel on a jubilee band would be a nice addition to the collection and it could bring some variety to the sporty look.

You know that thought has crossed my mind more than a few times. Fluted and not the smooth bezel? I guess you really can't go wrong with either one. Both good choices but I'm leaning toward BLNR more. |

I voted BLNR as it seems to be the logical choice given that it's for casual wear. The DJ2 would make a great addition to your sport-watch dominant collection as it's dressier than all of what you have, but versatile enough to be dressed down. Not sure why the Pepsi is in the poll since you stated it's out of your price range.

Sell BBB and ExpII and get an Aquanaut or AP 15202. LV, Exp I and Aquanaut/AP would cover you well!
