I went to my local AD here i Copenhagen with the same question. they sold me a Panerai screwdriver, that fits perfectly

Otherwise you need to look for a hollowground screwdriver online

1.6 mm cut-out is best to avoid stripping the screw. Try eBay. ~15 bucks.

Screwdriver size

Buy a Bergeon screwdriver set, good investment on this hobby 😉

1.6mm and It needs to be hollow ground, those Bergeon sets aren't. If you use a standard straight tip you'll mar the screw heads.

Buy a Sea Dweller tool, it's absolutely the correct size and the other end of it has a pin that makes pushing the screws out from the other side of the bracelet very easy after you've unscrewed it completely. Nothing better!

Do yourself a favor and buy a Panerai screwdriver (1.6mm).

It's a perfect fit for the oyster bracelet's screws and here is why :

The best screw driver hands down for sizing is the Rolex Sea-Dweller tool kit screw driver. It never mangles screw heads and is machined to fit perfectly into the screw slot.

Iv had a Bergeon screw driver 1.60mm but the tips on those will mess up the screws, like said above if you do a search it's been discussed a lot. I just ordered the ones from Ofrei.com MSA 01.201-160 New Swiss Made Deluxe Ball Bearing and MSA 01.202-T160 Replacement Curvature Blade For Deluxe Ball. A lot of people recommended them so I'm gunna try this.

A couple of people have mentioned 'Hollow ground'. I haven't heard this before. Can someone please explain what this means ?

Many thanks

The screwdriver head is flat instead of V shaped and sits more securely in the channel of the screw preventing it from being marred or stripped.

Wow, never knew about hollow ground. ADs sized for me and I never looked back so I never researched. I always thought it was a regular screw driver.

Panerai screw driver works perfect for Rolex. No need to spend $150+ on the sea dweller tool.

Also, I got an OEM Panerai screwdriver from my AD for cheaper than the OEM "replica" one listed above.

So between oyster and jubilee 1.2/1.4 and 1.6 should cover it? Thanks! Which is the right answer for the jubilee, btw?

I use 1,2mm to Jubilee and 1,6mm to Oyster. Bergeon have no 1,3mm and 1,4mm don't fit to Jubilee.

Recently tried to determine the proper size for Jubilee...here's what I posted in another thread.

Well, another update. Turns out that the screws in my SS Datejust Jubilee (P serial #, Ref 16220 are apparently 1.3mm, but my new DateJust (116231) Random serial will take the 1.4mm Bergeon screwdriver.
So in my experience, and older Jubilee bracelet (P series purchased in '01) is apparently not the same screw size as my brand new Jubilee bracelet . YMMV.

I have tried that ebay cheapo 1.6 hollow ground screwdriver for sub/panerai do not buy it it is a waste of money the tip bent on one use and is of extremely poor quality you can tell just by looking at it is not good. The tip fit perfectly but it is made of pot metal anything requiring any sort of torque will bend the tip. Go horotec bergeon or even oem rolex tool. The panerai oem tool is still very expensive. I have the horotec and it is of excellent quality and similar cost to these chinese tools on ebay even.
