WTS: 1990 Rolex Explorer 14270 Blackout
FS: 1990 Rolex Explorer I 14270 "Blackout" E Serial
The rarest version of the modern Explorer, the Rolex Explorer 14270 "Blackout" featuring blacked out arabic numerals on the dial, only found on a handful of Explorers from 1990 and 1991, extremely rare on the market. The case and bezel show some honest wear from use and has not been over-polished, the case has fat lugs. The watch keeps perfect time and has no issues. Dial is original. Some of the tritium markers on the dial have faded to a light yellowy hue, some are a creamy off white. The hands are original tritium and slightly lighter than the dial. Comes on the original 78360 Bracelet with 558B end pieces. Bracelet shows light stretch. Original Green Box and RSC receipt included. Black NATO strap included as well, as is the Oyster hangtag and a Rolex polishing cloth. Asking $8,350 by bank wire shipped and insured within the Continental United States. International shipping available at an additional cost. Watch is located in San Francisco, California, and face to face meetups can be arranged. PayPal plus 4% accepted as well. I am not a watch dealer, I am a private collector. References available, and I am an honest person. What you see is what you'll get and it's all truthfully described. Please feel free to contact me at prich4sf@gmail.com with any questions. Returns only accepted within 3 days of receipt if the watch is not as described and is returned in the same exact condition as it was originally sold. Refunds will be considered upon a full inspection and will amount to the purchase price minus shipping and handling costs. Buyer is responsible for the return postage, insurance, and safe delivery of the watch back to me. Due to the complexity of shipping to the US from abroad, all international sales are final. |
