FS: 1979 Omega Speedmaster w/ Box & Papers
For sale is a catch and release Omega Speedmaster Professional Moon Watch from lunaroyster.com.
Model is ref. 145.022 and cal. 861. The serial is 399220XX which dates to a 1979 production. The case is in excellent condition without dings, dents, or deep scratches. No corrosion on case. Sharp and defined edges and lugs. The original tritium dial is excellent. There is no damage, scratches, or uneven aging. Nice patina on dial and original hands. The caseback is excellent with crisp engraving stamped 145.022 - 76 inside. The bracelet is Omega 1171 with 633 ends and fully linked to fit large wrist. Bracelet shows typical stretch for this age. Bezel is original and period correct. These are notes from Lunar Oyster about the papers. "Watch comes with original Omega boxes, manual, polishing cloth and the most important part: the original printed hang tag with serial number. I believe this piece to be even more important that warranty papers (which are usually handwritten) and shows better tie and originality to the watch being printed from factory with serial number.
