FSOT: Rolex 16800 Vintage 1983 Submariner 8mil Serial Matte Dial Clean Condition

Hello All,

Up for sale is a Rolex 16800 Vintage 1983 Submariner 8mil Serial Matte Dial and Tritium Hands.The dial and hands are an off-white, eggshell color and are in excellent condition. In certain light the hands do appear slightly darker than the plots.

The bezel insert is a faded black / dark gray color and is in outstanding condition for its age. The tritium pip does have a crack in it.

The case and lugs are very full despite having been polished previously.
Original to the watch is the 93150 bracelet and correct 593 end links and “H” clasp code (1983).

I had the movement checked by my watchmaker who stated it appears to be in excellent condition and not in need of a service. The timing was checked and the watch is currently running at +3 seconds per day. The crown winds very smooth with minimal resistance.
