Rolex Submariner 5513 Circa 1971 with Military Provenance

Serial 3******, caseback stamped 5513 IV.71 with engraved Rolex Patented Insignia. Dial and hands have a nice beige, creamy patina to it, never relumed. Nice insert (scratch on the 32min section of insert, bezel turns smooth as it should, domed acrylic crystal in good condition and correct riveted C&I bracelet with the clasp stamped 1.73. Watch has the original 1520 movement that runs great!! Original bracelet has a lot of stretch but very useable, it is a 40 year old watch!!

This watch has Military provenance.. Owned by Col Zeller from the US Army Reserve. Included is a copy of a letter he wrote in a Military Magazine.

Watch comes with inner and outer boxes and the copy of the letter written by the original owner of the watch. Keeps excellent time!!
