As Harry said, the dial looks good. But Im not liking that hour hand. Everything else matches well, but that hour hand looks to have some gloss to it and is brighter white than the rest of the watch. Looks legit to me, but I think it may be a luminova replacement. Or could be the angles :)

Can it be that it have been done to prevent more cracks on the hand?

It is fairly minor when you see how 80pct of
7021s have mottled dials. With the red date, what is the serial. It should be early. Like 69 or 70. If it's later then someone added the red date. The bezel insert is very clean. Very. Maybe too nice. What is the seller asking?

The serial number starts With 74, and its a low 74. I am the owner. It is not much sun here in Norway and the climate is dry, maybe thats the reason of the clean bezel and nice dial with white markers?

Bezel is service. That would concern me more.

My theory is the oil tints the lume. It's a very nice watch but the inserts on these are normally really weathered and faded when they are orig. the numbers are not as fat as the orig ones in my opinion. Still great

What about the color on the pearl on the bezel?

My guess:

Dial / Hands / Insert were replaced at service in the 80s

Take an LED light and tell what glows and for how long (if at all). If zero glow, put watch in a box that blocks all light for a day, put it in a room that is pitch black, go into room and let eyes adjust for 10 minutes, see if there is a faint hint of glow. I have hands that look similar and there is a tiny bit of lume that can barely be seen.

The photo's are OK but still not clear or defined enough to show more.

I went in to a dark room with my watch and a strong head light. I held the watch and light together. When I switched the light off, the bezel pearl, hands and markers glowed very little for 2-3 seconds.

My kids just bought a tin of special silly putty that glows in the dark. It came with a mini black light flashlight. That thing really lights up lume for this purpose. Anyway, if it glows a bit then the dial may not be from 70 but a bit later. I am always confused when I see immaculate 7021s. Nearly all that I am comfortable with have some degrading paint. The 9411s seemed to have aged much better. It's a great watch. Maybe not a $8k example but it's still a beauty

Is it common with service dial on old snowflakes or am I just unlucky? Do you think I can get 5k $ for the watch?

I think $4500 - 5200 is a fair range

I think this is about right. If that watch is that pristine from 1969, it is just incredible. It almost has to be a service insert. But even then, it was well cared for after the change. Nice watch.
