For sale is my Glycine Airman 1953 Vintage Purist, reference 3904.14.TB9. This was a limited edition of just 600 pieces that I believe were made in 2012 with a retail price in the $2800 neighborhood. The SS case is 42 mm in diameter, has a sapphire crystal, screw down crown and locking crown for the rotating bezel. As the name purist suggests, this is a 24 dial where the hour hand rotates once/day. The automatic ETA 2893-2 movement winds smooth, keeps good time and all functions work as they should. It comes with the wood box and insert; no paperwork or other accessories came with it when I purchased it. The NATO style strap is in excellent condition and comes with a signed Glycine buckle. I’d rate the overall condition as near mint with very minor signs of wear.
